By | May 16, 2017
Creative Arts + Sciences is thrilled to announced that best selling author/illustrator Jarrett J. Krosoczka will visit Bowen’s 2nd-5th graders on June 5th! Jarrett creates books with humor, heart, and a deep respect for his young readers. As Ms. Mason can attest, Jarret’s books are very popular in the library! We hope that this program will give students something to look forward to at the end of year and inspire summer reading.
During his visit to Bowen, Jarrett will speak to students about his personal experience, how he got started writing as a child, and his long road to becoming a successful author and illustrator. He’ll also give our students a writing and drawing lesson, touching on plot and character development as well as the importance of revision and perseverance. Jarrett’s presentations are lively, funny and inspiring.
Get excited! Consider borrowing some of Jarrett’s books from the library, or purchasing copies of your own. If you wish to buy one or more of Jarrett’s books, he will sign them during his visit to Bowen. You can find a copy of the Book Signing Form with directions at this link: .The book signing form will also be sent home in your children’s folders.
